Advanced Body Composition Assessments
This test serves as a health screening tool and may be completed during nutrition consultations or as a single service to complement already existing work-site health initiatives.
Using the Inbody 230 we are able to provide our clients with a quick and reliable way to measure body composition. This test uses bio-electrical impedance, an advanced type of technology that measures the resistance of body tissues through the flow of a harmless electrical signal. This testing involves the individual standing barefoot on the scale. After the analysis is complete, the individual receives a personal results sheet, indicating body composition measurements, and an explanation of results.
Assessing a person’s ratio of muscle to fat mass is a more accurate indicator of health risk than looking at total weight and BMI. Data provided allows for the tracking of individual progress and health risk.

What are sessions like?
The initial session is typically 60-75 minutes long. This is where the customized approach to working on your goals begins! During the initial consultation the dietitian will go through an in-depth lifestyle assessment to learn more about things like your eating behaviors, sleep, stress, health history, movement, individual challenges and more. We take a holistic approach so it’s very important to us to collect a solid amount of baseline information and learn more about the different aspects of your lifestyle.
We also take the time to learn more about your mindset and go over healthy expectations and how we can make this process a truly successful one. With every session, another priority is to make sure we are answering any questions you may have. By the end of the initial session we will establish the first “Action Plan” which will consist of 1-3 behavioral goals that you feel confident in and that will support your progress.
Follow-up sessions are typically range from 20-60 minutes and depends on the individual. This give us the opportunity to check-in and evaluate how things have been since the last session. We discuss how the previous action plan went and decide how we want to move forward/what the next behavioral goals will be. Follow-up sessions are a fantastic way to stay ACCOUNTABLE, which can be extremely helpful when working on developing new or changing habits. Since our approach focuses on building momentum at a manageable pace, checking in for follow-ups allows us to cover a variety of topics, over time, instead of receiving an overwhelming amount of information at once or crammed into a session.
We know that there are all kinds of changes and challenges that can take place throughout the year. Meeting for follow-up coaching sessions allows us to continue building a lifestyle that supports your goals during life’s ups and downs because we’re able to work together to figure out the best way to address those times. What if I do not see results as quickly as I would like?

Physical change takes time and will happen at different rates and in different ways for everyone. This program is designed for you to achieve results in a sustainable way so that by the time you do see the results you feel confident in being able to SUSTAIN them.
